As befits the appellation, the little-seen white version of Ladoix presents punchy minerality and deep-register fruit, anchored by palpable grip and notable dry extract. Cornu employs 25% steel and 75% oak (25% of which is new) during the wine’s 12-month elevage, and in its imposing breadth and overall sense of concentration it more than slightly resembles its close neighbor Corton-Charlemagne.
