"Marie-Cecile" is pure Semillon, aged in demi-muids and dynamized like the Rose-Marie, and bottled with no additions at all. A master class in texture, Marie-Cecile tastes unadorned, as if the just-picked fruit itself were being presented lovingly to the drinker. It is both luscious and refined, with notes of musk and honey alongside preserved citrus and subtle notes of salty minerality. The bottle style is exactly that of Rose-Marie, and it is topped with soft yellow wax. There is no white wine in Bordeaux remotely close to it.
