With the 2020 harvest, Jérôme and Lyse vinified and bottled their 0.35 parcel of 60-year-old Pinot Noir in Aux Réas separately from the basic Vosne-Romanée for the first time. This vineyard, situated above the village itself and adjacent to Nuits-Saint-Georges, possesses stone-riddled soil with the mother rock lurking close to the surface, and it yields a wine more black-fruited and more intensely spicy than the village-level Vosne-Romanée.
