Hubert and Laurent ventured into the Côte de Beaune during the period of uncertainly following Romain’s death, and this “En Brescul” comes from a 0.4-hectare parcel of east-exposed vines planted in 1997 on which the family has a 25-year lease. Raised in 30% new wood, this amply concentrated wine presents dark red fruits around a firm and stony core.
