Comprising a miniscule portion of the estate’s total production, the Closerie du Pelan Blanc is 100% Sauvignon Blanc, vinified and aged in steel, with malolactic fermentation having occurred without inducement. This 2016 is quite ripe but bright, with notes of preserved lemon, candied orange rind, and a hint of salt—a supremely satisfying and unfussy white Bordeaux.
