This is a special bottling of a 60-year-old plot in Montigny-les-Arsures which Emeric bottled in late August of 2021 after a three-year elevage in barrels. It was done in what could be called his "semi-voile" style, where he tops up some barrels and allows some to evaporate, thus getting partial but not full-on voile influence. This wine indeed has a combo of oxidative power and insane lift/freshness, and it's super impressive—a cut above the "basic" Chardonnay and worth the price for sure!
