Vieux Chateau Champs de Mars Cotes de Castillon 2000

In 1984, Régis Moro, the son of a winegrower, took over the estate, which covers 20 hectares of predominantly clay-limestone soil in the Côtes de Castillon appellation.
Convinced of the need for a natural approach to managing his vineyard and winemaking, he initiated the estate into a certification process that culminated in 2008 for organic farming and 2013 for biodynamic farming. The goal is simple: to rediscover the depth and grandeur of the Castillon terroirs through beneficial and clean agriculture, as well as humility in the cellar.
The old friendship, the geographical proximity and the common philosophy between the Moro and Amoreau families mean that today the winemakers of Château Le Puy become owners of Vieux Château Champs de Mars.
